More relaxed family style food

Ideal for family events or when you are on holiday in the Cotswolds with a large group.

Ideal for the arrival night of your Cotswold break.

These meals may be delivered for you to finish with simple instructions or cooked and served in your own home by chef and waiting staff.

For restaurant style meals for that special occasion we also have our dinner party menus.

All deliveries incur a delivery charge of £10.00

All prices below are per person for delivery  inc. VAT

or:

  • 2 courses cooked and served in your home for £25.00 inc. VAT per person (minimum 8 people for 2 course menu cooked and served in the house * Does not apply to delivery meals)
  • 3 courses cooked and served in your home for £30.00 inc. VAT per person (Surcharge on parties of just 6 - 7 people 3 course menu to be cooked and served in the house 10%. * Does not apply to delivery meals).

Menu

Minimum of 4 people

2 days notice required

Choice of one dish from each course for the whole party with a vegetarian option if neccessary. Includes homemade bread rolls.

Starters

Delivery price £5.00 per person, £4.25 for soup

 

Summer pea soup with mint creme fraiche

Beetroot, feta and nettle filo tart with beetroot pesto

Roast asparagus wrapped in pancetta with gremolata (Vegetarian alternative available)

Homemade free range Madgetts Farm duck pate en croute with lemon and lavender chutney

Salad of parma ham, blue cheese, grapes and walnuts with preserved lemon dressing

Pink peppercorn home cured salmon with lemon blinis and horseradish crème fraiche (could also do this with smoked salmon)

Satay prawns with bok choy and cashew salad

 

Main Courses

Delivery price £9.95 per person, £9.50 vegetarian unless stated

All served with either potatoes and vegetables as below, or salads from our barbecue menu (included in price)

 

Lasagne

Home Farm beef with Gorsehill Abbey Farm cheese sauce

 

Cottage pie

Home Farm diced beef and colcannon potato

 

Sicilian style chicken

Free - range Madgetts Farm chicken cooked in a white wine, tomato, olive and caper sauce

Chicken, chorizo, pepper and mozzarella melt

Slow cooked shoulder of lamb in pomegranate molasses (ideal with roast butternut squash salad below)

Jerk pork with ginger and banana chutney

Baked beer poached gammon with beer mustard and honey dressing

Grilled sirloin steak with whisky and mushroom sauce

 Ballottine of Madgetts Farm free range duck with orange and passionfruit sauce (+ £1.00 per person delivery only)

Fillet of five spice salmon with tamarind dressing

Fillet of hake with homemade beer baked cannellini beans and ale sauce

Fish pie

Cod, salmon, prawns. tomatoes, egg and parsley topped with grain mustard and Gorsehill Abbey Farm St. Kennelm cheese potato puree

Fillet of Donnington trout en papilotte with asparagus, lemon and cherry tomatoes and fennel

Chickpea and green lentil vegetarian moussaka

Herb pancakes filled with wild mushroom stroganof

Aubergine involtini with herb roasted new potatoes and a red pepper coulis

 

Accompaniments

Potato, pancetta and thyme dauphinoise (can be made without pancetta for vegetarians)
